FIT Europe, the Regional Centre in Europe of the International Federation of Translators, has launched its Continuous Professional development (CPD) Shared Calendar.
CPD is important. The European Language Industry Surveys in recent years have consistently confirmed that individual translators and interpreters see the importance of ongoing CPD for their careers and generally perceive the return on the time and money invested in such training activities.
Individual translators and interpreters from all FIT member associations based in Europe, as well as the whole translation community, can now find on FIT Europe’s website a summary of CPD/training events (in-person, remote, hybrid) held by FIT Europe Member Associations. All nice and clean in one place. The perfect way to learn more about premium CPD opportunities taking place all around Europe!
The calendar is populated by FIT member associations themselves, who need to fill in a form to add an event to the calendar. An event is then automatically created in the shared Google calendar and appears on the website. In a near future, a newsletter with all CPD events will also be sent automatically to Member Associations for even more visibility!
