Conference interpreters have been severely impacted by the pandemic. Before the COVID-19 crisis, the market was still dominated by traditional onsite conferences. The crisis obliterated traditional conference interpreting and signed a massive shift to RSI.
Together with our speakers, we delved into hearing physiology and the main differences between RSI platform sound and regular conference sound. We dealt with equipment, setups, sound quality and health issues.
Two hours and a half passed in a flash and we were overwhelmed by the wave of questions triggered in the chat. Thank you to all participants and to our Irish colleagues at ITIA for the use of their zoom account for this webinar.
